Protection that listens, locates and calls for help.

ToneGuard® recognises a scream, stress in your voice, an impact and the words you choose, and sends your location to the people you trust. Four products, one system: the app, a Bluetooth bracelet, a 4G bracelet and a 4G watch.

  • Sound analysed on the phone
  • Works with the screen locked
  • SMS from your own SIM card

Everything the app does

Every function shows its real status.

In testing

Voice stress analysis

Measures the pitch, loudness and sharpness of your voice against your own calm baseline, so it can tell shouting and screaming from normal speech. You calibrate it once: calm voice, whisper, shout.

In testing

Your own emergency phrase

Record a word or phrase in your own voice. The app recognises it later, even when you say it quietly. Only numbers are stored, never the recording.

In preparation

Panic and aggression words

Word lists for help and aggression in the app's languages. One word never raises an alert alone: the app asks "Are you OK?" or waits for a second sign.

Active

Always listening, on the phone

A background service keeps watching with the screen off. The sound is analysed on the device, not streamed anywhere.

Active

Shake, impact and throw

Detects violent shaking, a hard impact or a thrown phone, even when the app is not on screen.

In testing

Silence after a scream

Loud noise followed by sudden silence is treated as a serious warning sign.

Active

SOS from the lock screen

A button in the notification: two taps with a short safety delay, no need to unlock the phone.

Active

"Are you OK?" and duress PIN

Before sending, the app asks you to confirm. A secret duress PIN looks like a cancellation, but the alert keeps going.

Active

Alert by SMS from your own SIM

Your location and message go as an SMS from your own SIM card. With no signal, it retries automatically when the signal returns.

In testing

Check-in timer and safe zones

If you do not check in on time, or you leave a zone you set, your trusted people are alerted.

In testing

Encrypted recordings

Audio and video evidence is encrypted on the phone. Only the recipient's private key can open it.

Active

Locked app

The app opens only with your fingerprint or face, so no one else can see its settings.

Next update

Pulse in the alert

With a bracelet or watch, and only with your consent, your pulse is added to the alert SMS so the people who receive it have more context.

Next update

Temperature in the alert

The bracelet's body-temperature reading is added to the alert SMS in the same update.

Active

16 languages

Romanian, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Polish, Portuguese, Greek, Hebrew and Albanian.

From sound to help

  1. Listen

Voice, words, movement and silence are analysed on the phone.

  2. Combine

Several signs together raise the risk. One weak sign only asks "Are you OK?".

  3. Alert

Your location and message go by SMS to your trusted people. Recording starts, encrypted.

  4. Take over

A person you trust, or an organisation's operator, takes over the case.

A system for care homes, NGOs and institutions

A web console for your team: alert queue, map, case take-over and audit log. Residents and beneficiaries wear a bracelet or a 4G watch, or use the app. Your team answers; ToneGuard® does not run a monitoring centre.

How each person appears in your system

Every person is a point on the map and a line in the queue, coloured by status. Your team sees who needs help first.

Live map
  • SOS alert

The person pressed SOS, or a strong alert was raised. A person must take it now.

  • Warning

Something is off: a check-in was missed, the person left a safe zone, the device was removed or the battery is low. Check soon.

  • All well

Connected, inside the safe zones, no alert.

Some functions are still in testing

The app is active on Android; some functions are built and still being tested, others are in preparation. Detection can make mistakes: false alarms and missed alarms.
